The Porcelain Twinz from Portland, Oregon are identical twin sisters as well as internationally-acclaimed burlesque performers and erotic artists. Heather and Amber have appeared on dozens of magazine covers, photo spreads, and television and movie appearances.
This photo session was their very first explicit nude photoshoot. The sisters started out the session rather nervous and shy at being fully nude and exposed to the camera. Fortunately that didn’t last long as the quickly warmed up to the situation and began exploring different poses, and each other. We shot over 600 pictures as the session went on for several hours. They explored each other, played for the camera, laughed and had a good time.
Throughout the shoot, in true twin fashion, one sister would start a sentence and the other would finish it. It was as if there were two bodies and one mind. Heather and Amber were delightful to work with.
At the end of the session, I took them out to a famous Hollywood diner for something to eat. With the meal, they ordered tea, as it was their favorite beverage. As we enjoyed the dinner, they unconsciously would stir their tea at the same time with identical movements of their spoons. Rather uncanny, entertaining, and delightful.
I had the pleasure to work with them many times of the next several years, and was proud of how they quickly succeeded to the top as ‘fetish-burlesque’ erotic performers.
